Move your mailoff the big suites.

A European alternative to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for your email. We move your mail to hardware we run in Drenthe, the Netherlands, so it stays in the EU under Dutch law. Every message is copied before anything is switched, and the old account stays until you have checked.

What moves

Every message

All folders, including sent, archive and the ones you forgot you made.

Your addresses

New addresses on your own domain, or on one of ours if you do not have one. Until you close the old account, mail sent to it can be forwarded to the new one.

Calendars, contacts, shared documents and video calls stay where they are by default. We can build something for them too, but that is a bigger job, so we scope it separately and tell you plainly whether it is worth it.

How it goes

  1. 01

    Inventory

We list every mailbox and how big it is. You confirm the list before anything happens.

  2. 02

    Set up

New mailboxes on our servers, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC in place before the first message arrives.

  3. 03

    Copy

Every message is copied straight from the old server to ours over an encrypted connection, while you keep working in the old account. A large mailbox takes a day or two.

  4. 04

    Switch

We change your MX records at a quiet hour. A second copy pass picks up anything that landed in between.

  5. 05

    Check

You log in and look through your folders. We run the domain check together and you see the result.

  6. 06

    Close

You cancel the old subscription only when you say so. Until then it is your fallback.

What you keep

Your addresses, your domain and all of your mail. The DNS stays in your name, and if you ever leave us, we hand everything over.

We did this ourselves first.

Fyzno moved onto its own hardware in Drenthe, by way of a temporary server in Singapore at the same host. Same plan as above: copy everything first, switch at a quiet hour, and keep the old setup until nothing arrives there any more.

Questions

Will I lose any email?
No. Every message is copied before anything is switched, a second copy runs after the switch to catch what arrived in between, and the old account stays as a fallback until you have checked.
Is there downtime?
Mail keeps arriving the whole time. During the switch some messages may still land in the old account for a few minutes; the second copy brings those over.
How long does it take?
For a small office: a few days of preparation, and the switch itself is one quiet evening. Copying a large mailbox takes a day or two, while you keep working.
Where is my email stored afterwards?
On our own hardware in Drenthe, the Netherlands, under Dutch and EU law. No AWS, Google Cloud or Azure in between. Backups run daily.
Can I keep my email address?
If it is on your own domain, yes. If you do not have one, you get an address on a new domain of your own or on one of ours.
What about calendars and contacts?
They stay where they are by default. You can export and import them yourself, or we scope a custom setup separately.

What it costs

It depends on how many mailboxes you have and how much is in them. Open a brief with both, roughly, and the reply carries a price, agreed in writing before we start.

Plan my move

Reply the same day, 48 hours at most. S/MIME-signed.
